Fourth Sunday of Great Lent – The Samaritan Woman

Rest assured my beloved …

When the whale swallowed Jonah, he was prevented from seeing the temple, but he prayed that he might see it again, “ Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight, yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’ ” (Jonah 2: 4) … indeed, he returned to the temple of the Lord.

When David the king had to flee from the face of his son Absalom and left Jerusalem, he left the house of the Lord, “Then the king said to Zadok, “Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place”. ” (II Samuel 15:25) … indeed, he returned to the temple of the Lord.

Rest assured, my beloved, and calm down … regardless of the reasons for what is happening, we believe that God is the Pantocrator, and nothing happens except with His permission and that God is good and all His deeds. are for good.

Rest assured, God is still working for our salvation and repentance, and we must know that repentance is always the first message from behind all events regardless of the causes of the event.

Rest assured for His promise of “ I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20) … He is with us to the end.

Rest assured, as we are in exceptional circumstances, and with divine preservation, the problem will pass and we will look at the temple of God again.

This will pass .. be strong in faith and encourage those around you, “ Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! ” (Psalm 27:14).

Introduction

Our Lord Jesus Christ went by himself to the Samaritan woman and walked 6 hours to meet her at Jacob’s well … This woman did not know Him truly and had no close relationship with the Savior

She used to hear about the Messiah who would come — so He came to her specifically to reveal Himself and the sweetness of the life with Him — reveal His unlimited love for her and that He has a big heart that fits everyone …

My beloved, it seems that this is our situation now and we do not have the true life with God, we may hear about it a lot and memorize verses that speak of Him, but we do not have the taste that we can say about Him “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 8:34)

Let us pray to God, blessed be His name, and ask him to come to our homes and meet with us on these difficult days, and offer us His generous love so that we know Him closely as He did with the Samaritan woman.

The Samaritan woman was very busy with the affairs of this mortal world: eating, drinking and the lusts of the flesh

She thought that these things could satisfy her and meet her needs …

These things linked her to the world day after day and prevented her from seeking the Savior where the true fullness of the soul; until the Savior came to her, the lover of mankind who always strives for the salvation of everyone

My beloved, it seems that this is exactly our situation where we are preoccupied with all things in the world and a very little time is remaining for the Lord

And the Lord said to Martha, sister of Lazarus and Mary: “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:41-42)

The Samaritan woman was far from Jerusalem — far from the temple where the worship should be

This woman could not go to the temple in Jerusalem and worship the Lord, she was in isolation from the house of the Lord — The Jews hated the Samaritans very much and did not deal with them because of their mixing with the pagan nations and the distortion of their faith …

But the Lord Jesus Christ, who does not want the death of the sinner as he returns and lives, came to her specifically to offer her His love and to correct her faith and the way of her worship …

My beloved, do not you see with me that we are in dire need of the Savior coming to us in our homes during this special isolation imposed on us by the precautions established because of the spread of the coronavirus!

Now we cannot go to the church, the house of the Lord, where we enjoy worship and praise …Ask with me that the Lord come to us in our homes and visit us with His mercy and reveal His love to us that we can never doubt and compensate our deprivation of being in His Holy Home …

“How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the Lord; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” (Psalm 84:1-2)

We want you, O Lord, to come to every one of us and let us hear Your divine promise in the book of Isaiah: “For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’.” (Isaiah 41:13)

The apparent ban for going to church is caused by the coronavirus, but maybe the real ban is the barrier between us and God …What is this barrier?

1. It can be the love of money that we have in our hearts, to the point that we steal God’s right and take away tithing …
2. It could be a lust of the flesh that enslave us just as the Samaritan woman …
3. It could be hatred, envy, or rivalry that make the brothers fight, friends and children of the same church lose true love to each other …
4. It can be being very busy taking us away from God …
5. It can be a spirit of pride, arrogance, and vainglory that dominates the heart …
6. It can be dishonesty in my life whether with money, time, or daily dealings with others …

I wish everyone of us would be frank with our Lord, the Samaritan woman was frank, and the Lord praised her for that.

If we reveal ourselves before the Lord with complete clarity and say to Him, Please, O Lord Jesus Christ, take away everything that is in our hearts that stops us from being with You and from enjoying true worship for You in spirit and truth.

The Samaritan woman came to the well every day to draw water for the body’s need while the real need is for the living water, as the Savior revealed to her in His meeting with her

I ask you, my beloved brother/sister, in these difficult days while you are preparing for yourselves and your homes physical water and preparing food for the needs of the body … have we thought about what is our real need?

The true need, my beloved, is for the Lord Jesus Christ, who satisfies all the needs of our souls so that we do not lack anything … David expressed this by saying, “there is none upon earth that I desire besides You” (Psalm 73:25)

We are in dire need of the Holy Spirit in our life in order to purify us from all unrighteousness, satisfy us, and give us the true water, so that we may repeat with David the Prophet, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

Let us hear what the Lord of Glory Jesus says in the Gospel of Luke: “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13)

Let us ask from the Holy Spirit of God, “O Heavenly King, the Comforter, the Spirit of truth, who is present in all places and fills all, the treasury of good things and the Life‑Giver, graciously come, and dwell in us and purify us from all defilement, O Good One, and save our souls.” (4th Litany of Agpeya Terce Hour)

The Lord Jesus Christ, when he visited the Samaritan woman, he ignited her heart with His love

She yearned for life with him and clung to him, not only her but all the people of her country, Samaria, to the point that she left her waterpot and went and focused for others saying: “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” (John 4:29)

Dear beloved, if the Lord comes to you and knocks at the door of your heart, open to Him, He wants to fill your heart and ignite it with love for Him and for all humanity … Do you want that?

اطمئنوا يا أحبائي..

 عندما ابتلع الحوت يونان حُرم ان يرى الهيكل ولكنه صلى برجاء ان يعود إليه “فقلت قد طُردت من امام عينيك ، ولكني أعود انظر إلى هيكل قدسك” (يون٢: ٤)وبالفعل عاااااااد إلى هيكل الرب

 وعندما اضطر داود الملك للهرب من امام وجه ابنه ابشالوم وغادر اورشليم وفارق بيت الرب “فقال الملك لصا ارجع تابوت الله الى المدينة فإن وجدت نعمة في عيني الرب فإنه يرجعني ويريني إياه ومسكنه” (٢صم ١٥: ٢٥)وبالفعل عاااااااد إلى هيكل الرب

 اطمئنوا يا أحبائي واهدأوا … بغض النظر عن أسباب ما يحدث احنا نؤمن أن الله هو ضابط الكل ولا يحدث شىء الا بسماح منه ، وان الله صالح وكل أعماله هي للصلاح

 اطمئنوا فمازال الله يعمل من أجل خلاصنا وتوبتنا ، ولابد ان نعلم ان التوبة هي الرسالة الأولى دائما من وراء كل الأحداث بغض النظر عن أسباب الحدث

 اطمئنوا من أجل وعده القائل “ها انا معكم كل الايام والى انقضاء الدهر” (مت٢٨: ٢٠) فهو معنا الى النهاية

 اطمئنوا فنحن في ظروف إستثنائية وبالحفظ الإلهي ستعبر المشكلة ونعوووووود ننظر هيكل الرب
هتعدي … هتعدي .. هتعديتشددوا في الايمان وشددوا من حولكم “انتظر الرب، تقو وليتشدد قلبك وانتظر الرب” (مز٢٧: ١٤)

مقدمه

لقد ذهب الرب يسوع المسيح بنفسه الي المرأة السامرية ومشي ٦ ساعات ليلتقي بها عند بير يعقوب ٠كانت هذه المرأة لا تعرفه المعرفة الحقيقية ولم يكن لها علاقة عن قرب مع المخلص

كانت تسمع عن المسيا الذي سياتي … فجاء اليها خصيصا لكي يكشف لها جماله وحلاوة العشرة معه … كشف لها حبه الغير محدود واتساع صدره الذي يضم كل احد اليه

الا تروا معي يا أحبائي ان هذا هو حالنا الان ونحن ليس لنا العشرة الحقيقية مع الله ، ربما نسمع عنه كثيرا ونحفظ آيات تتكلم عنه ولكن ليس لنا التذوق الذي عنه يمكن ان نقول ذوقوا وانظروا ما أطيب الرب

هلم بِنَا ندعو الله تبارك اسمه ونترجاه ان يأتي الي بيوتنا ويتقابل معنا في هذه الأيام الصعبة ويقدم لنا حبه السخي لنعرفه عن قرب مثلما صنع مع المرأة السامرية ٠

كانت المرأة السامرية مشغولة جدا في أمور هذا العالم الفاني من اكل وشرب وشهوات …

كانت تظن ان هذه الأمور يمكن ان تشبعها وتسد احتياجها … كانت هذه الأمور تربطها بالعالم يوما بعد يوم وتمنعها من السعي الي المخلص حيث الشبع الحقيقي للنفس ، حتي جاء اليها المخلص محب البشر الذي يسعي دايما لنجاة وخلاص كل احد

الا تروا ان هذا هو حالنا تماما حيث ننشغل بكل الأمور في العالم والفضلات القليلة جدا جدا من الوقت تبقي للرب ٠والرب قال لمرثا اخت لعازر ومريم ” مرثا مرثا انت تهتمين وتضطربين لأجل أمور كثيرة ولكن الحاجة الي واحد ، مريم اختارت النصيب الصالح الذي لن ينزع منها ٠”

كانت المرأة السامرية بعيدة عن اورشليم … بعيدة عن الهيكل حيث العبادة

لم تستطع هذه المرأة ان تذهب الي الهيكل في اورشليم وتعبد الرب ، كانت في عزلة عن بيت الرب … كان اليهود يكرهون السامريين جدا ولا يتعاملون معهم لاختلاطهم بالأمم الوثنية وتشوه الايمان عندهم

لكن الرب يسوع المسيح الذي لا يشاء موت الخاطئ مثلما يرجع ويحيا ، جاء اليها خصيصا لكي يقدم لها حبه ويصحح ايمانها وطريقة عبادتها …

ونحن يا أحبائي الا تروا معي اننا في مسيس الحاجه الي مجيء المخلص إلينا في بيوتنا اثناء هذه العزلة الخاصة التي فرضتها علينا الاحتياطات الموضوعة بسبب انتشار فيروز كورونا !اننا الان لا نستطيع ان نذهب الي الكنيسة بيت الرب حيث نتمتع بعبادته وتسبيحه …………

اطلبوا معي ان يأتي الرب إلينا في بيوتنا ويفتقدنا برحمته ويكشف لنا حبه الذي لا يمكن ان نشك فيه أبداً ويعوضنا عن حرماننا من التواجد في بيته المقدس ……” مساكنك محبوبة ايها الرب اله القوات ، تشتاق وتذوب نفسي للدخول الي ديار الرب ………”

نريدك يارب ان تأتي الي كل واحد فينا وتسمعنا وعدك الالهي في سفر اشعياء :” أنا الرب إلهك الممسك بيمينك القائل لك لا تخف أنا أعينك ٠”

ان المنع الظاهري لنا من الذهاب الي الكنيسة هو فيروس كورونا ولكن ربما يكون المنع الحقيقي هو الحاجز الموضوع بيننا وبينك

=============ما هو هذا الحاجز ؟

١- يمكن يكون محبة المال التي تملك علي قلوبنا حتي جعلتنا نسرق حقك يا الله ونسلب العشور لحسابنا …

٢- يمكن يكون شهوة جسدية نستعبد لها مثلما كانت المرأة السامرية …

…٣- يمكن يكون كراهية او حقد او خصام جعل الأخوة يتنازعون والأصدقاء وابناء الكنيسة الواحدة يفقدون الحب الحقيقي بينهم …

٤- يمكن يكون مشغولية تأخذني بعيدا عنك …

٥- يمكن يكون روح كبرياء وغطرسة ومجد باطل تتسلط علي القلب …

٦- يمكن يكون عدم أمانة في حياتي سواء مع المال او الوقت او التعامل اليومي مع الاخرين…

يا ريت كل واحد فينا يكون صريح مع ربنا ذي ماكانت المرأة السامرية صريحة ومدحها الرب علي ذلك ” هذا قلت بالصدق “يا ريت نكشف ذواتنا امام الرب بوضوح كامل ونقول له من فضلك يا رب يا يسوع انزع كل شيء موجود في قلوبنا يعطلنا عنك وعن التمتع بالعبادة الحقيقية لك بالروح والحق ٠

كانت المرأة السامرية تأتي الي البير كل يوم لتستقي ماء لاحتياج الجسد اليه بينما كان الاحتياج الحقيقي هو الي الماء الحي حسبما كشف لها المخلص في لقاءه معها

أسالك يا اخي الحبيب وانت في هذه الأيام الصعبة تحضر لنفسك ولبيتك الماء المادي وتحضر المأكولات لاحتياج الجسد …………وايضا احتياجات التطهير بكثرة خوفا من ندرة هذه الأمور في الفترة المقبلة ، لكن الم تسال نفسك ما هو احتياجي الحقيقي الذي اغفل عنه كثيرا ……

ان الاحتياج الحقيقي يا أحبائي هو للرب يسوع المسيح الذي يشبع ارواحنا كلنا حتي لايعوزنا شيء ……داوود عبر عن هذا بقوله ” معك لا اريد شيءا علي الارض “

نحن في مسيس الحاجة الي الروح القدس في حياتنا لكي يطهرنا من كل اثم ويشبعنا ويروينا حتي نردد مع داوود النبي ” الرب راعي فلا يعوزني شيء “

ليتنا نسمع ما يقوله رب المجد يسوع في انجيل لوقا ١٣:١١ ” فان كُنتُم وأنتم اشرار تعرفون ان تعطوا اولادكم عطايا جيدة فكم بالحري الأب الذي من السماء يعطي الروح القدس للذين يسألونه ؟ “هيا بِنَا نطلب من روح الله القدوس ” ايها الملك السماوي المعزي روح الحق الحاضر في كل مكان والماليء الكل كنز الصالحات ومعطي الحياة ، هلم تفضل وحل فينا وطهرنا من كل دنس ايها الصالح وخلص نفوسنا “

الرب يسوع المسيح لما زار المرأة السامرية الهب قلبها بالحب اليه

لقد اشتاقت جدا للحياة معه والتعلق به ، ليس هي فقط ولكن كل أهل بلدها السامرة حتي تركت جرتها وذهبت وركزت للآخرين قائلة :” هلموا انظروا إنسانا قال لي كل ما فعلت ٠ العل هذا هو المسيح ” يو ٢٩:انت اذا اتاك الرب وقرع علي باب قلبك افتح له ، هو يريد ان يملا قلبك ويلهبه بالحب له ولكل البشر
