Please note the following changes in the church service schedule for the week from Saturday, April 6, 2013 till Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
Due to the enthronement ceremony of His Grace Bishop Mina (the first Bishop of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Mississauga and Vancouver, and the surrounding cities, towns and villages) on Saturday, April 6, 2013 and Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Mississauga, Ontario, the following changes to the church services will take effect:
- Liturgy on Sunday (April 7, 2013) as well as vespers and midnight praises on Saturday (April 6, 2013) will be cancelled in Hamilton, Ontario.
- A Holy Liturgy will be prayed on Saturday (April 6, 2013) in Hamilton from 8:00am to 11:00am followed by Sunday School Service and Youth Group Service.
- Vespers prayer for the enthronement ceremony will be held on Saturday (April 6, 2013) at 7:00pm at Virgin Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church (1245 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga, Ontario). The ceremony will be attended by a delegation of Coptic Orthodox Bishops as well as spiritual leaders of other Christian denominations and many governmental representatives and dignitaries.
- His Grace Bishop Mina will pray his first liturgy on Sunday (April 7, 2013) at 8:30am at Virgin Mary & St. Athanasius Coptic Orthodox Church (1245 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga, Ontario).
- Saint Mina’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Hamilton, Ontario will be blessed with a special visit from His Grace Bishop Mina on Wednesday (April 10, 2013) at 7:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend and invite others. Please click here for the full church calendar.
